Now get your PC to TiVo shows for you. It won’t cost too much – just $103.99, shipped. TV tuners have been a favorite of people for long. Now the original TiVo software can be on your PC with Nero’s Liquid TV TiVo PC. Included in the package you buy is the software, TiVo remote, one year service subscription, USB IR receiver and a USB tuner that is HD compatible.

On a TiVo set top box, you would find the same software. Normally this woud cost you $199.99 but you can almost steal it right now for $103.99. You get the Season Pass and Kidzone but without some extras like music and photos.

 Now lets tell you about the tuner. It is a Hauppauge Win TV, HVR 950 Q. This top class tuner is priced at around $75 on it’s own. Over air digital signals can be pulled down by it. A small antenna is part of the package but you might need a larger one. The Liquid TV is a good deal for sure. I would prefer better setup instructions. In the preview window there is a bit of video stuttering.

Apart from these minor issues the Liquid TV is worth the buy. If you connect your PC to the TV, you can enjoy the TiVo experience on either. Now that is real new year cheer.
