Now Experience TV on Your PC With TiVo and Nero

Under a new agreement, Nero, the digital media technology company and TiVo are going to collaborate to bring TV to the PC using Nero’s next-gen PC software.

According to Richard Lesser, Nero CEO, the move is meant to bring TV to the connected digital home, enabling anytime, anywhere TV access to a vast range of TV content. With their technology they are expected to change the traditional ways of user interaction with software and hardware. Media functionality is to be added to PC’s Consumer Electronics and Software Products using their technological expertise.
Nero is expected to use technology to bring TiVo features to the PC under this agreement. This move is in response to widespread consumer demand for this product.

TiVo is happy to collaborate with Nero according to TiVo President Tom Rogers. This agreement allows TiVo to distribute en masse via consumer electronics, cable and satellite boxes.

Nero is a leading software solutions company, while TiVo is a leader in it’s domain. This is a marriage of two leaders and the consumer is expected to be the beneficiary.
