Comcast TiVo: How It Works
Comcast is one of the nation’s leading providers of communications products, cable services and entertainment that have existed since 1963. With their track record of high quality services, there are now more than 24 million cable subscribers under Comcast and is continually growing.
For their cable, they offer great interactive services with one of the best content digital cable, high definition television as well as video on demand.
Today, Comcast will now be including TiVo technology in their services where it has been awaited by a lot of Comcast consumers ever since TiVo was introduced. With this, you will be able to pause and even rewind live television and you can also record and save your favorite TV programs.
Basically, Comcast will not really require you to get a new box. The old box that Comcast provided you is enough and will just be updated with the TiVo UI in order for it to get a TiVo interface.
This means that all you need to do is sleep one night and wake up the next morning with TiVo interface in your Comcast thanks to its self updating OS.
The TiVo Comcast will still have its standard features, such as the On Demand. Also, you will be provided with a special TiVo remote that works with the box that was provided to you by Comcast. This particular remote will be like a TiVo remote except for the On Demand button.
Although there is still no word when Comcast will include this kind of feature on their services, a lot of Comcast cable subscribers are now highly anticipating this one of a kind feature to be included. So, if you are a Comcast subscriber, all you can do now is wait for TiVo interface to be included in the service.
