As power grows smaller in size, digital cameras shrink. People are using smaller devices in more clever and inventive ways. Jonathan Harris has come up with a very creative way to record his vacation. He had gone on a whale hunt that lasted 9 days in Barrow, Alaska. He was richer by 3214 photographs at the end of the odyssey.
Text Control Your TiVo

So picture this. You’ve had a hard days work and are headed to the office party. You have forgotten to set your TiVo to record your favorite tv series. Viola, like a Bond with a style of his own you whip out your mobile phone. Then you text control your TiVo to record your favorite show. All you have to do is send a text message from your phone. Kwiry will do the rest.
Suppose you need to record Battlestar Galactica. All you need to do is text “TiVo Battlestar Galactica” to KWIRY. Kwiry will then instruct your TiVo to record the show – it needs to be internet connected of course.

Almost two years ago, TiVo‘s swivel video search engine debuted. Now a better integrated search is going to replace the old search engine. The visual improvement is the major change in this search engine.
At CES 2009, this week, the announcement for the new search engine was made. The announcement said that the new TV search works like the search bar in the Firefox address browser. The search bar is called the “Discovery Bar.” All you have to do is type in the first letters of a show. When you do this you get recommendations of relevant broadband, TV satellite shows.

TiVo Guilt: Are You Guilty?

If you have a whole lot of magazine at home that you haven’t read, at some point you will feel bad about the waste of money and paper. If you have a lot of unseen videos at home you will rue the fact that you don’t have time to entertain yourself. If you have a lot of TiVo‘d programs that you haven’t watched, you probably have TiVo guilt.
TiVo guilt is what you feel when you are thinking – “I’ve taken the time to record all these shows, now shouldn’t I be watching them?” DVR’s let television viewers break free from the confines of time and space. By letting you record your favorite television shows TiVo liberates you, in a sense.
