As a result of this partnership, you can now order pizza through your TV set for both pickup and delivery. Yumm TiVo!

All users need to do is click the right buttons on their remote and viola, hot pizza is served! Choose the crust, sauce and toppings you want. This is an innovative way to boost pizza sales at a sluggish time. And full points to Domino’s for this. In addition, couch potatoes are going to appreciate TiVo even more so TiVo gets more orders as well(I am guessing).

Morgan And TiVo Partner

TiVo is now in hotel rooms as per a new partnership between Morgan and TiVo. Morgan Hotel Group which is famous for Delano in South Beach, Royalton and Hudson in New York and Sanderson in London announced the partnership with TiVo. In Home entertainment is now available through out the newest hotel chains by Morgan which includes the much anticipated Mondrian which is located in South Beach.

Until now it was far more difficult to watch favorite programs when traveling. That has changed. Television choices are no longer limited. Hotel guest can now enjoy TiVo – after dinner in Miami, they know their favorite show is waiting for them in their rooms.

The newest TiVo on the block is TiVo HD XL. It doesn’t matter if you have never owned a TiVo, if you are looking to get a new one, you know which one to get. If on the other hand, you are looking for an upgrade, then get the TiVo HD XL.

Netflix and TiVo have made a pretty offensive push with their new announcement. According to the announcement, TiVo will stream movies from Netflix. This is being touted as a smart move. It works well for both Netflix and Tivo as companies are in a war of wits on how best to deliver movies to the TV rather than to the PC.

According to Scott Devitt of Stifel Nicolaus this offering is limited to TiVo HD XL, TiVo HD and TiVo Series 3 subscribers. However most TiVo customers have the Series 2 box or one below that. This means that a trade up is in order to avail of the new service.
